Pich Sophoan, secretary of state at the Ministry of Labor, said on March 3, 2019 that Cambodia's labor market need requires about 3,000,000 engineers between 2018 and 2020, while currently fewer engineers are still small compared to Demand for servicing industries, construction, agriculture, tourism and real estate.
As of December 28, 2018, the General Secretariat of Engineering Committee of Cambodia has trained engineers in engineering engineering and has registered 3,199 engineers, including 2174 registered engineers, 582 professional engineers and 403 engineers of ASEAN.
