Thailand will help water in the adjacent Cambodian province


Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen on March 13, 2019 has announced that Thailand's Trat province has agreed to provide water to Cambodia's Koh Kong province, while the province is facing a shortage of water.

The Prime Minister has advised Cambodia's authorities and stakeholders to prepare such items as water pipes to get water from Thailand so that no Koh Kong water can be used. And he also thanked the Thai kingdom as well as the province of Trat to help supply water to Koh Kong.


Regarding the lack of water, the cause of the water supply is dry, and Mr. Hun Sen has introduced a water conservancy system that is working to ensure that all the cities are not water short.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology's weather forecast, it is said that in April 2019, Cambodia will suffer from over 40 degrees Celsius temperatures, In Cambodia, there are droughts that make people in need of water.
