Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Prime Minister, on April 25, led a high-level delegation of the Royal Government to attend the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and other key meetings from April 25 to 29 in Beijing, at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China.
Please note that the dignitaries accompanying Samdech Techo Hun Sen include HE Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong, HE Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, senior members of the Royal Government of Cambodia, and business leaders of the Chamber of Commerce of Cambodia led by Neak Okha Kith Meng.
According to His Excellency Srithamruang, Deputy Prime Minister, the meeting of the 2nd belt and road Forum was held after the first meeting in 2013. The head of the government, who will attend the forum, has been increasing, indicating progress and dedication to the effectiveness of the initiatives hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In the high session of the 2nd Belt and Road Forum on April 26, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will deliver an address on the Forum’s theme “Belt and Road Cooperation: Shaping a Brighter Shared Future."
During his stay in China, Samdech Techo will meet separately with His Excellency President Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and other Chinese leaders, and will give a keynote address at the meeting with students and professors at Peking University. A number of documents on Chinese aid and cooperation projects are expected to sign during the visit.
