The governor and JICA discuss the construction of a $ 25 million clean water reactor



HE Mr. Khuong Sreng and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) yesterday discussed the project to construct a $ 25 million clean water reactor project in the southern part of Phnom Penh.



The meeting between HE Governor Khuong Sreng and JICA discussed the issue of land for the Sewage Treatment Plant for "Dirty Water Drainage Project in Phnom Penh" to resolve the problem of water pollution in Phnom Penh.





The Phnom Penh municipal administration has decided to construct the first dumping station in southern Phnom Penh, defining the site of Cherng Ek for the construction of a station under the grants of the Royal Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).




During the meeting, HE Mr. Khuong Sreng agreed to the Department of Public Works and Transport and the Department of Land Management, to mark the border for the construction.




The project for the construction of a clean water reactor project, a grant of $ 25 million, is an unprecedented project by the Japanese side to build sewer pipes in Phnom Penh.
